Our Year 9 historians recently embarked on a thrilling rewards trip tothe London Dungeons, trading the classroom for a deeply immersive—and delightfully terrifying—journey through the city's darkest past.
From uncovering the Gunpowder Plot to narrowly escaping the infamous Jack the Ripper, students found themselves on the edge of their seats, navigating the shadows with a mixture of nervous laughter and excitement. The talented live actors, atmospheric sets and special effects tested everyone's bravery, but our students looked out for one another throughout and represented the school superbly.
The trip was a well-deserved reward for all of their hard work this term. While there were certainly plenty of jumps and screams along the way, the experience struck the perfect balance between education and entertainment, bringing centuries of London's fascinating history to life in a way our students are unlikely to forget.
