About our uniform

We believe that wearing a school uniform promotes a sense of pride, belonging, and equality among our students. Our uniform policy ensures that all pupils are dressed appropriately for learning, representing our school community with respect and professionalism.

Uniform and standards

All students are required to wear blazers and ties with the school crest on the chest of the blazer and on the tie, below the knot.

The ties have the same basic design, with a different coloured stripe denoting which year group your child is in.

The year group will keep their particular colour as they grow through the school so there is no need for parents to replace the tie until their son/daughter starts Year 11 when they will require a 'Senior Student' tie.

Blazers and ties are worn with a plain white collared shirt. The shirt needs to have a top button which can be fastened so that it looks smart when worn with a tie.  School trousers/skirts and shoes must be black.

School uniform must be worn correctly to and from the school, as well as in the school.  Students failing to conform to the strict uniform rules may be placed in ‘isolation’ with their tutor or Head of Year.

PE Kit

The PE kit from September for Year 7 is a green polo shirt with the school logo. The white polo shirt or green polo shirt can still be worn by students in Years 8-11. Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms / leggings are to be worn by boys and girls.  Boys are also required to wear black football socks and a ‘rugby reversible’ in the Autumn and Spring Terms.

Footwear - Training shoes/football boots.
