On Saturday 21st February, a group of our pupils enjoyed an unforgettable trip to see We Will Rock You at the Bournemouth Pavilion. In total, we purchased 60 tickets, and it was wonderful that many pupils were able to share the experience with their families, who joined us for this special outing.
The spectacular production, featuring the iconic music of Queen, had everyone captivated from start to finish. With its high-energy performances, powerful vocals and dazzling staging, the show delivered a fantastic afternoon of entertainment.
Pupils were particularly inspired by the confidence and talent of the performers. The futuristic, sci-fi storyline came as a surprise to some, but it was a hit! One pupil told Mrs Warren that she was singing the songs all the way home, while another shared that he hadn’t expected the sci-fi twist but thought it was absolutely brilliant.
The trip was led by Mrs Warren, Miss Duglan, Miss Pithers and Miss Shameti, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience alongside the pupils. We were also delighted that Chris and Oli from Unique Events were able to join us for the performance.
It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils and their families to experience live theatre together during the half-term break. The energy, creativity and professionalism on stage left a lasting impression on everyone who attended, and we look forward to many more inspiring trips in the future.
