Lift New Forest's First Ever Whole School Sports Day!

The PE department was delighted to host Lift New Forest's first ever inclusive, whole school Sports Day—a fantastic celebration of sport,teamwork and school spirit.

The day brought together students from every year group to take part in a wide variety of activities, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the traditional athletics events,including middle distance and sprints, students embraced a range of fun and inclusive activities such as the egg and spoon race, hula hoop race, sack race and fancy dress race.

The excitement continued throughout the day with fiercely contested tug of war competitions, energetic dance-offs and whole-school sing-alongs, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with laughter, encouragement and celebration.

The enthusiasm, sportsmanship and support shown by students and staff made the event a huge success and a memorable milestone for Lift New Forest. We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part and are already looking forward to making our inclusive Sports Dayan annual tradition.

Legacy Records

In 2019, Lift New Forest introduced Legacy Records, giving pupils the opportunity to set benchmark performances for future students to challenge. Since then, every Sports Day has seen competitors striving to etch their names into the school's sporting history by breaking these records.

Although no all-time Sports Day records (dating back to 1970) were broken this year, the performances across every year group were exceptional. The determination, resilience and sportsmanship shown by all students made the day a huge success and demonstrated the continued strength of PE and school sport at Lift New Forest.

Congratulations to all of our Legacy Record holders and to every student who took part. Your effort, encouragement and team spirit truly embodied the values of the Lift New Forest community.
