We are thrilled to share some incredible news from one of our former students. Lift New Forest alumni Anna Armitage, who went on to study in New Zealand, was selected to represent New Zealand at the prestigious International Geography Olympiad, hosted in Istanbul this past August.
Following an intense week of rigorous exams and testing against the world’s top young geographers, Anna achieved a Gold Award!
Out of 190 international competitors, only 16 students were awarded Gold and Anna was one of only two female students worldwide to receive one.
We are immensely proud of Anna’s extraordinary achievement on the global stage and look forward to seeing where her talents take her next. Congratulations Anna, we hope that your success will inspire the current generation of Geographers at Lift New Forest!
